Went up to the 106parts unit - by arrangement - today, to pick up my new Pugsport and have it fitted. I got the last centre section this side of Christmas :p

Ben did a superb job fitting it - cheers fella. Mark and Gareth tried their best to part me from some more hard earned with tempting bits (I will have that steering wheel in the new year and who knows what else ;) ).

After it was done we lined up for some snaps. Considering the weather I'm pretty chuffed with them!

Performance wise - its not too boomy on the motorway (good hour of that on the way home) but then I do have a 1.1 box so revs are a little lower. Awesome rasp when giving it some and it does seem to have improved low down torque somewhat. Best of all it sounds like a Pugsport! Awesome :D :D very happy

Top top blokes. Excellent service. Hope to see you all at the next NWmembers meet!

Work in progress... Old exhaust on ground in front.

3 for a jet wash next door. Ben gets his leather seated beast cleaned up for a photo.

Job done. Looks absolutely spot on - and totally inproportion to the rear of the car. Gotta love 3"!

Ben's Rallye out of shot in this one - ashamed of his front bumper ;)

Bloody sunroofs!

Shame about the weather. It pee'd it down all the way home so I haven't really taken her for a spin properly yet.

Mark - email me and I'll send over all my pics full size to you.

That 3" looks great. Much more in proportion that the shitty peashooter. Good choice.

Oh, and James, if you're getting a new steering wheel, I have a very reasonably priced boss for sale as the Momo on my Rallye has just moved to my M3.

PM me if you're interested

The Exhaust is 199 from 106parts.

Fitting.... free if you do it yourself!! just get a new gasket set and your off.

I would imagine a garage would charge around 30-50.

No garage should charge you that much labour to fit an exhaust! 20 tops!! I've had places do it for a fiver before because it takes all of 2 minutes when they have it on a ramp!

I really like the look of the 3" rolled in - it looks in proportion with the wider tyres and lowered car... its not massive and it sounds exactly like the 2" to me!

TBH I think its good there is a choice. Why should we all have the same taste?

Benji

My bumper doesn't look that bad on those pics! Thank god! :)

That would be great, mark said ours havent turned out that well. I really do like that pic, one of the best I have of my car. Background is key in a good photo.
