Terenure Classic & Vintage Motor Show 06

I know this is early notice for this show, but i'm looking into getting a stand for our Rallyes at this years show.

Myself and Paul (PTR) where at it last year and there where some impressive motors there. Every sports and classic car you could think of from the last 20+ years.
A few big clubs where there including Lancia, BMW + RS owners clubs etc:

So mark it into your dairy.

I've just completed my application form and i'll be sending it of in the post tomorrow. €10.00 entry fee to display your car and one passanger.
Clossing date is 16 June.

I might have two mates coming in two fully restored Mk2 Gti Golf's.

Any more interest ?

Yeah we can all meet up some where close to the place then we can drive in together and get parked in a group.
On the application form it asks what club your from, i put 106 Rallye Owners Club Ireland. If everyone puts it down like that then i think they will group us together anyway.

I'll be going and Paul is bring his E30 M3. There might be another lad form Monaghan coming in a Mk2 G60 golf.

I thought you could just drive in on the day and pay at the gate?

i think you can pay at the gate, couple of euro dearer and no commerative plate (?!!)
i dont know if we are in as a group (owners club) although we did all fill in the owners club section as 106 rallye owners club ireland. but i presume you will be able to get in with us, just get there as early as possible!

I've two spare S2 steels at the house here if any one needs the loan of any. There's tyres on them but there not road legal. :D

Darren, you can pay on the day, but you won't get a commerative plate. And there is the chance of not getting in. They are expecting over 1000 cars on the day. Come good and early and hopefully you'll get in.

Whats every one else's no. mines 215. I was wondering if we are all in or arounf the same numbers ?

I live around 10 minutes drive away, shouldn't be too bad. What time do the doors open at? I can be there when it opens and park near (hopefully on!) the Rallye stand!

I'll be waiting till saturday untill i start mine. I de-tared it for the last meet up and it isn't to bad for tar marks. So i'll give it a wash friday, then saturday give it a polish and clean the inside and windows, then spray the wheels and black trims.

I was gona bring some cleaning products to the stow with me, so if anyone wants to used any let me know. I'm sure there will be a fly or two on my bonnet and wind screen by the time i get to dublin... :mad:

Mine is fairly dirty at the moment, going to have to spend all day Saturday cleaning it I think, hasn't been washed in two weeks!

I only got to get the dirty off mine really and clean the steelies a little before the rain came, if it's nice tonight I'll give it a bit of a polish before I head off, stupid weather! :mad:

The weather with us this morning up to 12 was great, i got Pauls motor washed and polished (Cough.. looking better then it ever has...Cough... :grin: ) then it started to bucket it down...:mad:
So i had to wash mine in the rain then let it dry in the garage before i could polish it.

Does anyone know what the weather will be like tomorrow for the show ?
We are planning to leave here at 8.30am then be in Dublin for around 10.00 - 10.30 if all goes well.

It's shit out at the moment, it's supposed to be "better" tomorrow but that doesn't mean much, probably won't be too bad and the odd light shower!

Don't forget to check the map aswell, I just noticed there's a seperate entrance for cars on show, it's only €3 extra and if I want to park with the others I'll have to put mine in there, I would hardly class it as a show car though, it's not that mint!

Edit: I just filled out the form, I might meet one of you outside the show entrance, since your registered properly and I'll just be giving in the registration form at the gate?

Oh, and your welcome to cleaning stuff and a hose at mine if you need it after the trip down, give us a shout if you do!
