Needs some tlc but should turn a tidy profit. Nice one - any major mechanical problems apart from gears? If not, thats a serious bargain.

yeah it is some gay front spiltter.
theres not that many rallyes around here no. Ive only ever seen one white S2. i have 3 S1s now. and ive seen about 4 otehr series 1s.
Just test driven it and when pressing the clutch in to stop drive the car wnats to stop dead as if it was breaking. ill post it in the problems section me thinks.

OK excuse my shitness at mechanics but could it possibly be either wheel bearings seized/about to go, or brakes being stuck on?

My theory is that the drive of the engine is enough to overcome these but when drive is removed the extra friction over normal slows the car down? Oh well, I tried :p

na mate, its neitehr of them. its transmission/clutch related. im thinking it may be the release bearing jamming or something

good buy, good to see a S1 getting restored

that front towing hook looks pushed down? has it been front ended at some point?

for that price you should do ok if you can fix it up - mind you these days S1 arches and bumpers are quite dear, plus the respray cost...

hope you sort it - restore it to its former glory and let someone else enjoy it to your profit :)
