After all the shit happened with my wheels, I thought I would do something to cheer me up a bit so got in contact with a local boy and bought my Rallye a little present, ill give you a hint...

Oh Yes, they are Throttle Bodies, they came complete with the standard CBR600 trumpets, huge airbox complete with filter and all other wires and hoses all for the grand total of....

Cheap, think mine were summert like 50 off ebay, exactly the same bodies!

Where did you get your manifold Benji and what engine management are you running? How did you get round the throttle cable and butterfly opening, and ICV etc?

Can you get some pics of all the little details and send them to me or even post them here to give me a good start? Was it a hard conversion?

Heh, i made it all to suit the engine tbh. Its all bespoke. I made the inlet fold, the throttle linkage runs on two eccentric circles (one larger than the other). The ECU is a megasquirt unit which is a DIY unit. Theres no ICV, just idles a little poo when cold.

Its not a hard conversion, just needs alot of time and perseverence as at times it can become a git.

I'll post some pics later bud.

Supplied and fitted by the likes of Ecosse, around 2500 plus VAT

how about if you bought them from a more reasonably priced source and had them fitted by a normal run of the mill garage that are pretty handy with the spanners??

is there a lot of work involed??
