in preparation for fcs to look good next to the "minters" im giving my car shit loads of cleaning time this next week or 2. gonna give it at least 10 layers of autoglym polish and then a couple of ultra gloss protection on top so the paint is like glass.

so far, due to the weather being gay, i have only managed to get 2 layers on my bonnet and passenger side front wing, but the results are already starting to show.

should be beautiful soon :D

its not dirty its just the light didnt catch that area, i actually polished that as well (im a loser) :p

might even go to uber loser like you matt and clean the whole inside of the wheelarches :D

that looks really good already paul. Dont forget polish doesnt 'coat' the car as such. It flattens the paint, and you should do as many applications of it as possible before using the ultra gloss or a wax, as the ultra gloss or wax seals the finish.

aye i remember reading that a few days ago, some bloke called matt reading suggested it, thought it sounded like a plan so im doing it as well ;) :D

Can any1 give me any tips on how to stop stones etc. chipping inner part of back wheel arches? or is it not possible?

chezney you could put some front mud flaps on to prevent stone chips on the rear arches, ill be doing this soon! :grin:

I Hope were running a "rallye with the most battle scars" award....Id win :yikes:

going to G3 mine as the paint is flatter than a bloody flat thing...I hate white pug paint it fades soo easily.
