Who'd be up for a BBQ beach trip sometime during August?
Currently thinking the Wirral - Thurstaston to be precise - about an hour or so from Manchester.

Could be an early evening weeknight event or a Sat/Sun.

I was thinking the 12/13th but I am aware that clashes with the Curborough weekender - so how many would have to miss it because of that?

Simple as BBQ, frisbee, beer (for the non-drivers) and chat.

YB camping trip on the 26th now so I should be free for this.....any more plans for it?

ok so here are semi final plans as far as i see it we leave the NW on friday (11th) evening camp that night have saturday(12th) there stay saturday night and doordel home on the sunday (13th) now please respond in a sensible manner people (there are showers and toilets for peoples lady folk so 2 nights isent exactly rouging it plus theres onsite pub and lots of other stuff :) )

I still dont know if i will have a passenger ,but I wont be able to afford 2 nights camping at those prices :(

I can't do two nights anyway - I imagine that most people would be better with travel over on Saturday, stay over and come back Sunday.

Yes Cathy is coming Mike - so bring the Mrs along. Mark is bringing his lady too IIRC. Dunc might have a special someone as well (if his car lasts that long).

CAMPING JUST SATURDAY NIGHT?

well im assuming most people will want to just stay the one night so . . .
one night it is may i sugeest we leave early on the saturday cuz the pubs round where we're staying serve awesome lunch lol :)
so again i just need final numbers and stuff to book our plots :)
would like them asap as its likely to get booked up with the waeather being so good at the moment . . . Cheers :)

ok so after a few days of thinking of what to do . . . whats going on now is if everybody can do everything a day earlier shal i just book the fiday night so we go down friday morning and stay till saturday afternoon or do i just re-locate the whole thing to the following weekend or are there any other dates that more people can do more easily ?

HEADS UP

New plans...

FRIDAY NIGHT
BBQ at my place, all welcome, and plenty of space to stay. Beer flowing and good food and chat till the small hours... (if weather's poor then Dunc's gazebo will be employed with my patio heater)

SATURDAY
Trip to Wales via some of the WWW2 route.

SATURDAY NIGHT
Camping on Anglesey (Dunc and Dan at the moment - Mark?)

SUNDAY
Return.

i have some bad news people upon calling the capsite they told me that they were fully booked until sunday night :( now we can either call the camping off or drive around angelsy like mad men and find a place to stay . .. i vote for the latter :)
