yep cheers to all those who did turn up!
at the end of the day it was easy for me to put together but without you lot turning up it wouldnt of been worth getting out of bed for....
as usual most people who sooooooooooo badly wanted to come didnt, thus sacrificing positions on the RR.
but enough ranting was a really good day even though i was extremely hungover, got lost and killed a tyre lol
had a nice bit of sausage and mash after a little country drive (for some of us lol), meanwhile kenich was fixing his heater matrix!
power figures wer odd but they wer consistent with other cars running today, i.e mine got 104 today and at wanes it got 125...?wtf lol
the 16v's wer getting 106 odd i believe...?
jedis johns packing loads more pictures

Not sure the RR was 100% , but show me one that is?
This is what I got at the wheels with my standard 1.3i (s1) lump. Bloke said there was loads of transmission loss, i.e 35% hence the slightly low figure, I put that down to the VTR box being way too long for the little thumper. Notice the 119 top speed, thats around 10mph longer then anyone else there...shitroen lol....rob...lol
http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b239/alltodo42/Image2.jpg
my 16v got 104.2 at the wheels, but it was the only one still with the standard manifold, so considering the RR was running a few bhp under it was at least consistent.
What I dont get is how my torque level was pretty much the same as my bhp level....bit odd on a valver!!

Aye I recont is a few hp now but not far off, would be intresting to see what i'd make with a different box on there. Azza's a legend by the way people :praise you: love that car of yours.

Well some of us can just estimate there figures - heres goes 143.9 at the wheels and 189 at the fly:D
Well done to those who showed and a BLACK MARK on those who failed to get there act together. After ages of organising and many a person fighting for a place, the turn out was under strength! YOU KNOW WHO YOU WERE!
I think the rollers were acurate, but not set up for smaller output/fwd cars like 106's, the figures seemed quite close, but well down on other results - could be they are real figures and all other rollers are wrong
Nice chaps at the place and were up for a laugh when blasting that jaw dropping AC cobra up the road and that 'asbo' mental mini.
Great day

well heres my printouts from the 2 rolling roads in the last 2 weeks...
the first ones i.e on white paper are from waynes, they give a much more educated print out with lots more info on them.
the orange one is from today at austec, bit more basic print out and i feel although the RR was 4xwheel drive it seemed more basic than waynes set up!
i think the RR today was about 10bhp down on everyones read outs, give or take- what do you lot think!
the print outs

and a random monkey who kidnapped my old number plates and printouts:D
http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g191/big_jazzle/rrday006.jpg
il take a better picture of the austec one tomorrow in daylight!
basically the aystec one read 104 at the fly and the chipwizards ones are 122.6 at fly--- big difference there, i bilieve waynes ones are right for two factors...
1) it was set up there, and he has no doubt done alot more rallyes than the tvr specialists
2) not sure if it would make a difference but wayne ran it up in 5th, they use 3rd or 4th depending on car
3)waynes is the biggest number lol
4)am i write in thinking that 16v lumps are 120bhp standard, not 106 lol

what happened to the pgti people ?

didnt show up,-then his phone rang once, then when i tried again it went to voicemail..
so i left a slightly sarcastic message on there asking him if he was lost, never heard of tom
tom???
i had so much correspondance with him as well, complete waste of my f'ing time really, i had to get so much info together for him!
yep was a good day no matter the results really! good to meet you lot too, I survived which was surprising! there is another RR place prettty much down the road from that one, so if I can find out the details of it I'll pass them on, they were fantastic as they had a specialy built building for the RR with a fully adjustable speed fan which is fitted in the roof of the building, rather than a fan sat in front of the car.
Raceland manifold is planned if the car doesnt sell.....
couple of pics!

2) not sure if it would make a difference but wayne ran it up in 5th, they use 3rd or 4th
http://www.pumaracing.co.uk/coastdwn.htm
should be the gear that gives closest to a 1:1 ratio (4th in a 106's case). if wayne did 5th, as explained on puma's site it will lead to a higer fly wheel bhp reading.

you can say that again:lol: , the rollers were a bit over the top, they are capable of 1200bhp from fwd/rwd/4wd.

Looks like a good day was had guys!
I hope you're all pleased with the outcome? Like it's been said already, they're consistant if a little low but it's all a numbers game!!
That Cobra is mental - Azmo, pleasepleaseplease host the vid mate! Mini looks great fun too, but I can believe you lot are cumming over that when there's a flipping Cobra sat there too lol! That waiting-to-be-sprayed TVR looks damned sexy too... I want one.
