Hi all,
yeah long time no see.
Well my car is parked up in the garage for the winter. I've bought a upper and lower strut brace but haven't had time to fit them yet. I'm waiting on my Disks and braided hoses from 106 parts to fit my 206 Gti set up. Other than that it's been a quiet few months for the rallye.

During the summer i bought a 91 Mk2 Golf Gti 8v, but i only kept it about 3-4 weeks. No where near the fun of the rallye. It was a good car, but the rallye done every thing so much better. The rallye was quicker, better handeling and just so much more fun to drive...
So i sold the Golf and bought a E36 318i Sport. It one of the later ones with the 140 Bhp engine. It's not as fast as the rallye, but it is a great everyday car, rear wheel drive fun and it looks the part to with the full factory fitted M3 kit.

I still have a load of bits in my attic waiting to be fitted, new master cylinder, braided hoses, group n wishbones and I've a 1.4 xsi box sitting around with a quaife lsd on the way. I better get off my arse after christmas to get it all sorted.

I think I saw paul going up the M7 there a few weeks ago in his E30 M3, has he sold it yet?

What you getting in from Japan? Don't say it's a Honda! I knew you couldn't stay away, the Rallye you had was lovely!

I may just do that, I've been thinking about leaving everything in somewhere and just get it done one day, I'm mad busy with work I barely even get time to drive it anymore :(

Next purchase may be 16v and throttle bodies, be a waste not to use the Omex 600 properly ;)

Ive sold the 124bhp 1.3 s1 rallye, and bought a Mildy tuned s2 16v :)

How do you find it compared to the Rallye and say Chris's old Rallye?

I thought it sounded good myself, time will tell though :) Need to source a few more parts.

we could have a interesting track day this year up at mondello if we all bring our new motors... :veryhappy:

It would be nice to have another meet up soon, even if just to catch up and see what people have been up to over the Christmas break.

My 206 disks and braided hose pipes arrived before christmas, along with my upper and lower strut braces. So hopping to get them fitted within the next few weeks. :grin:

I got the ECU from some lad off a Ford website, Omex 600, clubman spec loom, a few sensors and delivered to Ireland for under £500, bit of a bargain!

I've been in touch with Traynors about the engine, they've one in stock which is handy and I'm looking at getting my DTH throttle bodies this week, need to decide on cams, manifold and exhaust but I think I may just go with a raceland and pugsport and see how I get on.

You still know that lad for the Raceland stuff Chris?
