Very nice Matt - good work on both cars, I'd love to see what mine would look like with similar treatment, I just never get the time!

Matt you should start your own buisness :praise you:

When you mention restoration what products would you recommend? I have a few swirl marks on my bonnet, i don't seem to get on with scratch x?

the business idea would be cool, but don't think theres enough money to be made on a regular basis.

resoration wise i go no further then T - cut to clean off the "dead" paint, i don't have polishing tools so i do it ALL by hand. you can also get autoglym paint renovater, i've never tried it but might give it a whirl soon.

Autogly paint renovator is good for taking off haze or scratches, but its pretty coarse and does leave a bit of swirlage that takes a couple of coats of polish to fill. I'd avoid using it all over the car if you can, but it is good stuff used properly.
