Yeah 97-mh-6487. I think he's looking for around 7 for it, I think. Nothing has been done to it as far as I know, he just wants to get rid of it because it was giving trouble. He hit a pothole a couple of months ago and the car just cut out and wouldnt start, took a good while to find out what was wrong with it. I think it was something to do with the immobiliser, and the same thing happened again about 2 weeks ago. He just wanted something a bit more reliable so he bought a civic SIR. Is that your old car?

He hit a pothole and it wouldn't start? Just stick on the hazards, jump out, open the bonnet and press the big red switch, it's a fuel cut off for when the car thinks your in an accident. If he's selling it for that reason... :yikes:

And seven for it, I wonder what I could charge for mine when it's done!

Whats the spec on your car Daren?

Mate i told him about it....when he bought the car. all you do is take off the battery for 10min, ECU thinks its in a crash and cuts fuel. thats all......... take bat off wipes all faults on ecu....

What a shame, you should post it up on here for him...

Aidan Boland: you have my mates BLUE S2?? If so U HAVE A VERY VERY VERY clean car.

Well the person who owns your car now isnt the person you sold it to, to be honest i wouldnt mind seeing it go to a better home either because all he does it drive the shit out of it. Yeah i bought my car off Alan from Navan and yeah it is fairly clean.
