Right, I currently own a saxo vtr  and I have a janspeed manifold, decat and back box with super sprint center section. And i lurve the way it sounds. My new car 106 gti, will most proably be fitted with a pug sport exhuast, but I would like you "guru's" to tell me which size I should go for to get it to sound like my current car.

Here is a video shot today at Santa pod, so you get the idea.

Thanks guys.

Link isn't working, Fred. I think Youtube takes a while?

2" Pugsports are the best sounding exhausts to my ears, but in two years of wanting one I still haven't! It's a sin!

If you come along to FCS you'll hear loads.

3" is a bit boomier than 2" ya?

Get the 2". It's more raspy, I think.

Miles had an excellent vid of him revving the sh*t out of his car with a camera around the back, but it's no longer online :(

3" is still raspy, but is boomier... I got it because I don't like the rolled out tip on the 2"... Ideally I'd have a 2.5" rolled in, but you can't get one.

3" looks good, WRC cool.
2" looks old school cool.

if its the s1 magnex one its whisper quiet i think, the gf has one on her rallye along with the decat and its whisper quiet lol

where as luke neal and miller have the s2 version (bigger rear backbox chamber) its loads and loads louder, sounds nice but nowhere near as raspy as the pugsport

Defo go for the pugsport you know it makes sense...

I'd recommend the 2" outward rolled, like james says, its old skool kool!

I have a 3" cause it's all 106 parts had in tongue out

I prefer the 3" looks on the S1, looks really just right from the back imo.

How will I know if my magnex is a pugsport? It was on the car when I got it. It looks like a
3" one. Would there be a marking anywhere on it that will tell me?

If you have the full system, check on the dummy cat...
