Sounds like we have a voulenteer :D
Its a good idea but due to there not being that many of us its going to be hard to find a day when everybody can go! Worth a look though.

J_K we must then take the lead!! I cud make it to Dublin very easily. Its quite easy from Wexford and Laois also and well if i can make it from Tyrone WayneD can make it from Monaghan.
We shud meet in Dublin some Sunday and then maybe go up to the Wicklow mountains for a jaunt and take some photos!!
Whose in??? We can finalise a date later!
Sounds like a plan....
I'd be up for it.
I'm in limerick most of the time but its the same difference, no probs getting to Dublin.
Might be best to leave it till august or some time though, give everybody time to be ready for it. I personally have to find out where my car is leaking the half litre of water every day!!

August sounds good!

Hi guys,
i've just put the rallye back on the road after about 1 year of relaxing and taking it easy. Just cross the 33500 mile mark on the way to work this morning.
So whenever you's are thinking of meeting up and i'll come along.
I bought a set of Comp 2's for the car since you's last seen it so i'll get a piture up soon.

Ha ha yeah nice try...
I couldn't have a rallye with no steels to go on it now.
I bought two new ones last year for the front and i need to get new ones for the rear now. There only 32 sterling each, will worth getting.
Any more interest on a meet people ? any ideas ?

Ha, :D, just bought a set yesterday anyway.
It'll probably be a while till everybody is ready and there's not even enough of us to go ahead in the mean time without them really.
I do know of a few good meets coming up with some excelent cars and people in the next month or so though if anybody was interested. check out the site my signature.

Im afraid my 106 rallye wont be hitting the road any time soon at all - strictly going to use it for the track once i get it sorted.
We'll need to organise some track day :P

I'd love to have a meet soon ish, unfortunatly I'm selling up in the new year, moving on to even more un-reliable crap :D Damn fiats..... I will own one again though, without a doubt.
Love to see a few more before I sell it.
Daren S

How come your selling JK?
I just want something a bit quicker and a bit more comfortable for the time being. I'd love to keep the rallye but being in college I can't really keep two cars. I've a good home lined up for it though.
Wayne D
10-12-2007, 11:18 AM
Thats a pitty you have to let it go dude. hopefully we'll get a meet up before it goes anyway.
Ok,
I'm going to bring this up again, I'm trying to rekindle my love for all things rallye! (And I kinda want an S2 now so its all good)
Names on the list are
1. Wayne
2. J_K
3.
4.
Somewhere in the centre of the county would be the best I'd say, portlaoise etc......
Maybe the weekend after christmas. Somebody else can decide as I'm not very good at organising anything :D

Ill go if its in portlaois , its only 10 mins away
Daren S
18-12-2007, 10:57 PM
I'll be there, if you hold it to February-ish I should be in the Rallye, otherwise I'll have to drive the German barge
Nazor
19-12-2007, 08:58 AM
Centre of the country is Athlone lads!! lol
Portlaoise is miles away for me and WayneD. I dont know why im shouting though as my Rallye isnt going to be ready.
If it was ready though i still think Dublin is a better idea as there is plenty of good roads for all concerned to drive on.
Dublin is a 2 hour drive for me at the very least - Portlaoise on the other hand is 3hrs 30mins driving on not so good roads!
Dont mind me though im just sayin :)

How about that Midlands Karting place in Longford. Might not suit everyone distance wise but its well worth a visit if we where looking for a good day out.
I was here over a year ago and keep meaning to go back. Its a great track and the karts are first class...

I'd be up for that, that Karting day we had out up north before was a good laugh!
Wayne D
19-12-2007, 09:21 AM
Glad you enjoyed it, but to be honest Newry isn't a patch on this plase in Longford. It's an out door track.
If we talked them round maybe we could get the rallye's on the track for a half hour or so... :D
Kartings not a bad idea actually, at least its not dependant on turning up in a rallye then :D

21-04-2008, 01:30 PM
ahhhh wayne you show off!!! lol
yeah was just thinking about this the other day - need to get my 206 all cleaned up and get that front bumper "sorted" :(
Convoy Wayne?? well a two car convoy? maybe some folks from RMS and FCI would meet up at Lisburn?? Must mention that on RMS
Wayne D
21-04-2008, 02:05 PM
Yeah a convoy sounds good, you can go in front and kill of any flys from sticking to the front of my car... LOL :p
Will you be able to sort your bumper in time ?
Hopefully there will be a few others alright. I hope its a good day, i was at the Monaghan rally yesterday and it was very cold.
Nazor
21-04-2008, 02:13 PM
i was meant to go Wayne - was going to give u a ring but my dad was in hospital so i had to go visit him.
I'll just get the bumper put in place - wont get time to spray it i dont think. My mate reckons thats all i need to do to it anyways.
I dont mind going infront - my 206 is only being used for carriage not for anyone to look at :) What about meeting at the Ballygawley Roundabout??
Wayne D
21-04-2008, 02:22 PM
Yeah thats spot on then straight down the M1.
I'm looking forward to this now.:D
Nazor
21-04-2008, 02:35 PM
