the se section shall have a big convoy, ive allready put abit in my section about it, but over the next few weeks it'l be properly organised! ect ect!

im expecting 10-15 cars hopefully...
i think the prob with a convoy is that some people are coming on the fri and some sat morning.. but im sure all will be cool!

Most of them will be being organised in the local area forums rather than in this one ;)

thought it was the m40? or am i being a retard again lol. also theres the problem of when every1 goes. friday night or saturday morning. personally would be better saturday i think, because if we convoyed down on friday night wed end up splitting anyway for our seperate accomodation.

dunc is meant to be organising a common area for us to congregate around on the fri night, possibly in rugby. Somewhere so people who are camping/hotelling can meet up for a beer or seven in the pub that evening :)

I've set up the Northwest convoy. If other group leaders want to contact me if our paths will cross (our route is on the second Google Maps link in the post) then we can co-ordinate via MSN or PM on here.

the se region is also setting up a convoy, maybe we could hook up with the south west convoy also....
in the same breath can all group leaders start pressing hard in there regions to dig out the members who seem to be hiding? we need as near 100% attendance from all regions...

im taking steps such as sending out individual emails and pms:)

I've created a public Google Map.
If GROUP LEADERS co-ordinating their convoys want to add their convoy meeting places to it it might be a cool way of co-ordinating things. I've added the names of who is meeting where to the placemarks/pins I've put in the map, and edited the colour of them to red to show they're NW meeting spots. I'll PM group leaders now.

The nearest services to Junction 4 are those between 7 and 6 on the M6 TOLL (you keep saying M6 but you mean M6 toll! ;))

Therefore you'd have to get on at Junction 7 and head south and meet us at the services. I've put a pin in the map for them - but its extra miles for you chaps.

As I understand it if you come off the toll and back on - you have to pay again, hence I wouldn't advise us actually coming off the motorway to meet you.

yes sorry ment m6 toll, and yes i realised about paying which is why i thought myself it wouldnt b a very good idea. ill have a re think about it, maybe we could meet further down.

Dan (bob) best bet is if we agree a time you guys join the M6 toll at Junction 4, then as we approach one of us gives you a ring, then you guys join and cruise until we catch up?

bobdylan_55

idea and 20 halves that is, ill pm u my number and u can pass it onto the relevant person, then get them to ring us as u approach and we will join and sit at 50 till u come past and we will join u :)
