WRC in Ireland

Got back from 3 days in and around Sligo. What a fantastic setting for a WRC event. Was a real shame Gronholm went out so early. The 3 Mc Hale Focus works cars were very quick. Didn't see any Rallyes on the road in the whole time.:(

I was around myself in the Rallye, had a great time, some good performances put in by some home drivers alright but Loeb is some driver, unreal. Its weird finally seeing the best drivers over here on telly and stuff, Hope to god it'll be back again in the two years time.

I was impressed by the whole event. The organisation by the marshals was impecable especially around Sloughan Glen SS 11/14 where thousands of spectators were out.

I want a WRC-kitted Focus :( Saw the highlights today and it looked amazing. Couple of drivers said it was the toughest test of the season

i was brought up just outside sligo, i love that county, i miss ireland, i will move back there one day, show the rallye some proper roads . how did the local lads fair against the top runners Sean ?

The MacHale family ( father and 2 sons ) finished 8th, 12th and 25th overall.
