Rallye Ireland

Just got this idea from the WRC thread.

How about in the summer of next year we have a road trip event in Ireland that will involve driving over the entire route of this years Rally Ireland??

It could be done on a Bank Holiday weekend? Easily do-able in three days! Ferry over from Stranraer to Belfast or Holyhead to Dublin then stay in Sligo and do the route over the Saturday, Sunday and Monday! We could probably include some classic Circuit of Ireland stages too!

This is just an idea to gauge interest.

On another note, does anyone have a Rally Ireland Pack that they don't want. I missed getting one for myself and i'd really like one.

Maybe if we could narrow down an exact date and route, then post it on in the Events Section people might spot it. Some people might not check in here saying its not their local section. Just a thought.:)

Sounds interesting. I take it most of the route is on Public roads then unlike the GB route.
