I did the TMSG series for a few years in the mid '90's with John Tubman (who was 4th here) in my 205 XS and then Micra Super S, won the novice class in 1996.

Good events up in Tyneside, lots of fond memories but my rallye is a bit too modded for them now. Saying that the early winter rally used to allow what looked like stage cars, I suppose there aren't too many people to complain in the borders!

My next outing is the Teesside sprint on Good Friday, March 21st.

we had a bad night :( went otl after a nightmare stage, didn't have enough red bull lol!!

still getting used to how they run things up there as not run traditional style by any means.

the notes seem to be set for the local boys to have a blast around some good roads well known to them using marked maps, rather than some good old navi work.

Expert cars were cleaning 35+ stages, so imo that's just too easy!!

there was a 12 car on at same time using same controls, so a mixed bag, and some shouting at controls! ha ha!

next round in feb, but not sure if we can do that one as I might be away, then one in march
