Hello All,

Due to a change of plan it doesnt look like im going to be doing the BTRDA 1400 champ next year due to being let down time and time again with an engine....does anyone know of any forest events that run 1600cc at the front of the field with the 1400s?? cheers

if your 1600 is quick enough I'd imagine you'd be seeded in front of the 1400 cars yeah.

yeah but what im getting at is most events run 1400's then four wheel drive then 1600 - 2000cc etc and its a shit track by then...

I thought you were buying that Pug Sport engine?
Can you not just buy an XSi engine and put that in?

yeah i bought the cup car engine but thats more than likley going in my road car.....ive had a 1400cc rally engine build thats fucked the big ends twice after running it in so i think im going to have to seek legal action against the engine building company and was thinking of putting the cup car motor in it and doing some 1600cc forest stuff in that due to not knowing how long all this is going to take with the 1400

The BTRDA used to put the 1600s in front also, but competitors started appearing in super 16s so they got demoted to the back. Apart from the 1400s in the BTRDA events i dont think any other events/championship does this. Do some tarmac.....half the cost. The welsh tarmac championship is a great little championship and highly competitive for either class.

just what I was going to suggest, do tarmac, much less harsh on the car, unless you snowball it!
