[SOLVED] White non sunroof s1 106 rallye 1.3 for sale restored, serviced &


After 10 years of ownership unfortunately it's time to part with my rallye!

It's very very nearly 100% standard, right down to the original radio/cassette!

Items which not standard are the raceland Stainless steel 4-2-1 exhaust manifold, Magnecore KV8 ignition leads, clear side repeaters, Nissens alloy rad, powerlfex rear beam bushes and the goodridge braided brake hoses. However standard replacement parts will come with the car! As will a lot of spares which I'll come to later.......

The car has undergone a full restoration & respray, it was gutted to a bare shell, all windows, engine, interior, fuel tank, suspension removed, rust cut out and patched where required> these areas included 2 small strips along the inside of the front wheel arches and the boot sides – the usual places! Windscreen and boot glass bonding areas were also bare metalled and treated where surface rust had begun.

Genuine Peugeot floor stiffener panels were welded in – yes I managed to source both sides! As were the front bumper side supporting brackets.

The underbody/wheel arches were taken back as required and fully stone chipped and then sprayed with Lechler Syntolac. The inside floor pan was also coated in the Lechler, and then all visible interior areas are in ICI BIANCA WHITE to match exterior. The exterior as mentioned was all done in ICI POWP white and I also had the engine bay done!

Replica decal set by redheads digital – IMO the most accurate replicas available - silver back with printed colours not multi layered vinyl like some cheaper sets.
Replica TOTAL/ESSO engine bay sticker.
Door B-pillar textured black vinyls.
full service – fuel filter, oil filter, air filter, spark plugs, oil, coolant, washer fluid, brake fluid.
Set of floor mats.
Rear numberplate.
Genuine Peugeot alternator (this is now a few years old but worthy of a mention).

Full set of 5 S1 rallye steel wheels which have been blasted & powder coated, fitted with brand new Nexen n-blue eco tyres 185/55/14 and completed with centre caps (afraid the caps are s2)
spare wheel cage was also powder coated in black just to set off that spare wheel!

This is complete and standard, carpet was washed as were the seats but a year on they would benefit from another quick vax, I may even do this to be fair. Currently a DIN blank instead of the radio but I have the fully working original unit here, with code, I just know they are a pig to get out once fitted but will show it working. Front speakers have been replaced with alpine S type coaxial units.

1x standard 1.3 rallye engine complete with all ancillaries & sensors - with top end rebuild on 91k – with receipts.
1x 1.1 gearbox on 65k, no proof of milage but I pulled it out of my brothers saxo when it was scrapped so in know the miles to be accurate – no noises or crunches.
1x Magnex original pugsport 3" SS exhaust in good nick!

Drivers seat has plucked side bolster – this has been roughly stitched up, also the white stitching is coming undone on the seat.

Drivers seat belt webbing is fraying. (advisory)

Gearbox crunches when cold into second gear – otherwise no noises whatsoever.

Original engine has covered a lot of miles 203k to be exact! but still runs fault free, smoke free, pulls strong, and idles lovely for a rallye and did just fine on the emmisions – but you will have the 91k spare to pop in should the time come!

Pass side rear trailing arm picked up an advisory on the MOT – the car comes with a trailing arm bearing kit.

small paint run on the very lip of the boot - cant see it with the boot closed and a flat and polish would easily get rid of this.

The car will come with mountains of paperwork from over the years, it had full service history up until my ownership, from which time I serviced it in full every 6000 miles. With the exception of the windscreen, all windows, and the headlights are also registration plate etched so are original.

I got the car MOT'd in December following the resto, and its only covered the 2 miles back from the garage since then! I will happily get a fresh mot on it for a serious buyer.

There are currently only 87 s1 rallyes recorded on the road in the UK, how many of those are white, non sunroof, and standard I do not know! The asking price is 4000 ono which I think reflects the rarity of the car, the spares it comes with, and the work that has been done.

Car is located in mid-Suffolk. I can accommodate viewing almost any time with a bit of warning! Car will be sold on cleared payment.
