Second sprint of the season yesterday, the Dick Mayo Sprint at Castle Combe, which was a 3/4 lap format. Hot would be an understatement, too much sun with the heat getting to all drivers as we lined up in the pits for our runs. I have done Combe a few time before as a track day, but lack of time to walk the course and no sighting run meant the first practice was rubbish as did not slow enough to take the chicane at Bobbies and went straight on. Second practice was a bit better posting a time 80.04, slow but better than a fail.

Timed runs went better, the best being 77.67, happy with that. Need to tackle my starts, bit too much wheel spin, and be a bit more trusting of my brakes, and brake later. Will try and find some photos to post.
