Scatter Rally

Hi All,

I just wondered if anyone took part in scatter/12-car/road rallies etc.

If so, how well suited is the Rallye and how does it compare to the competition?

I organised a scatter for 7oaks last year. They are a treasure hunt really finding clues to input on a sheet on a time limit. Good blast. 106 is perfect - fit a map light.

12 car is a mini road rally...... for 12 cars....

Road rally - depends on where you are going and which event. Some (most) take in the Whites shown on a OS map. They can vary in how damaging they can be. Also very competitive. A good nav will help no end from getting lost. Fit a sump guard.... and a map light.

All are a great blast.

Thanks Neb.

It's actually the Sevenoaks club that I was contemplating joining; as well getting myself on some MSA beginner track days in July/August time.

No worries, best to get along to a club night and have a chat with them. If not the auto test season is on, check the website for dates, the venue is one of the car parking fields at brands hatch. They are good fun too.

There are a few members that sprint as well which the Rallye would go well in.

Thanks Neb.

Yes, sprints are definitely interesting; just a total motorsport newbie (apart from karting!), so looking for the easiest way to get started.
