1.0i class 1 autograss

Hi guys quick question I'm building a class one autgrass car for my lady everything has to be standard manufacture parts of the 1.0 engine but I'm away some years the parts differ and to be better and Max cc is 1000 no over bore allowed no mapping skim the head is allowed fuel pump is allowed anything just looking for some little tips or if any one knows any simple ways to get some more out of it to compete against the 16v Micras ie. Better manifolds exhaust or Inlet better engines like year of production or cylinder heads ma3.1 ecu is allowed instead of ma3 Anny help is greatful and handling tips better suspension of standard manufacture no rallye parts are allowed to be used
