lol yes unfortunately it does have a prick plate ... M3 LXX

we'll see, im going to put a braided clutch hose on it as currently the pedal is a bit low. some michelin pilots on the rear to match the front. the I'll leave it for a while and let some funds accumulate. Im sure some form of chavvy induction kit and a supersprint exhaust will work its way on there!

I have found it too! Damn, that is eye-wateringly bright, but at least you will be seen. Tell us how you get on with it as I'd like one next year; mpg, insurance, servicing, mods etc. Any plans for tracking or is it too nice to bladder around a circuit?

plans so far are to get used to it and manage to make it through the winter with the steam rollers and 321 rampant ponies!

once iv got used to it its definitely going on some tracks.

Iv just been outside and taken some quick pictures on my iphone I'll just upload them and put them on. i drove it in the rain this morning so its a bit dirty I might have to give it a quick polish tonight!

poor quality and low light but ill get some better ones at the weekend with a proper camera

The plate would fetch a few quid if you don't like it.
That way it wouldn't be known as someone elses car either should you take it to BMW events.

Thanks it's grown on me and it's so nice to drive! It just pootles in traffic when you want it too, and then it absolutely flies when you open it up. I found a nice concrete walled tunnel today taking my sister to view a cooper s. Wish I'd found it in the Rallye

On another note ...

The first and possibly second modifications are being undertaken tomorrow, after a little trip to bmsport and Sanspeed this morning

Looking good James! That part number I gave you on fb has been replaced for 21 52 2 228 101 which comes in at 81.28!!! I think you can buy a Goodridge hose for cheaper though.

Cheers dude! I went to bmsport this morning and got the goodrich hose with a t piece for the pressure switch. 44. Sanspeed are fitting it tomorrow for 35 and then changing the gearbox oil, and if they have any in stock, braided brake lines

Lol it does have indicators and I use them all the time. And let people out of side roads! I'm still a frenchie at heart!

haha true, Audi's also seem to come with some kind of lens like windscreen glass that makes drivers think they are further from the car in front than they really are.

First modification undertaken:

Braided clutch line:

It's like a completely different car! It's amazing the clutch bite has been moved from ranging between lower 1/3rd and floor to a constant 3/4

They have a stupid rubber hose section in the hydraulic line which expands when it gets hot, resulting in a pressure drop and a low biting point. With the braided line it doesn't expand when the fluid heats up and it feels so much nice to drive!

Very happy chappy!

Quick picky of it parked at bluewater:

Looks lovely, that yellow wouldn't have been my choice initially, but the more pictures I see the more it suits the shape.

Got to love a bit of straight-6 action, I bet it'll sound amazing with a stainless exhaust.

Get it done I was skeptical about how much difference it would make but it's completely transformed the car. I can't get my mate out of it
