Gear box issue ?

Alrate lads

Might sound stupid but it feels like my gearbox is causing resistance..
Basically on a flat road if I take my foot off the accelerator I begin to lose speed, however if I put my foot down on the clutch I carry more momentum ?

Any help would be much appreciated !
