below are some of the bits for a marathon fitting session hopefully this weekend at my local car enthusiasts garage

so it finally happened

spent 10 min and the arch looked like this



then took the std unit apart

for the mo the ride height is set to about std unitl i can get the rear beam done to match

the drive is unreal now def right to save and buy better stuff and buy once

8th august 2009

some progress today









so as shown new exaust fitted and the group n's

sounds like a rally car now

9th august 2009

cleaning

so no pics as of yet but today was spent doing the following

Resealed the rocker covers ( oil leak)
took off the induction box sanded off the chavvy looking 106 emblem and spreyed with texture paint to make look semi standard
fitted new engine bay dress up bolts
full under bay clean (now hate having a white car)
full wash with autoglym shampoo
full paint renovator application

and that was 7 hours worth

plan for tomorrow

interior windows
hoover
treat leather
interior shampoo
sort out amp wiring

clay
quick detail
polish
wax
shine tail pipe
exterior windows
bumper care
seal wheels
MAYBE tireshine

some of you guys may know shakey and how into his audio he is well being one of my best mates who else would i look to to install the c5's

not alot done today as it was a set up day with a new router and making a tool for cutting rings. plus i had to sort my alarm

That is one of the best White gti's i've ever seen, If you had that on Compo's all the time that is! Orange wheels dont do it any favours.

I would hand in my rallye for a while gti anyday!

Rear Audio

so this afternoon me and carl fitted the 500/1 and he lent me a W7 10 to see how i like it in my sysetm, and i have to say i now need one in my life. it completes the system really well.

Ignor all the wiring its only temp as the whole lot is going to be redone in a few months

So the car has been down at my mates workshop having a load of stuff done while its been there ive fitted a few more of my bits

HID's the 3rd set
6k kit for main and 8k for full and spots plus new LED side lights

Right im in need of some motivation as since they tyre has gone ive lost heart in the car. i thought i would show you whats been going on and what WAS done for fcs even though it didnt make it there
