Cv joint grease quantity
How much cv joint grease should it take per joint?bought 2 cv joints only, no grease so unsure?

depends on the size of the joint, I think a typical BE shaft has something like 60 grams of grease at the most, would think and MA shaft would have about 2/3rds that.
that will typically fill the voids in the joint and have a little bit left over, so if you're filling up from a pit that'll give you a rough idea, you don't want too much flying about as that can make the boots come off if they're stretchy ones. |

I'd definitely fill off the car, that way you can keep the mess to a minimum and seal the boots up properly. It also makes it easier to work the grease into the joints.
