Pugsport 2" system + eBay cat = MOT pass?

I'm sure it's been asked 100 times before.

I'm aware there's no chance the car will pass the emissions on the MOT with a cat-less PugSport system unless the MOT tester is your best mate,

But, would it pass with a PugSport system, and an eBay/Europarts cat fitted? Someone's got to have info' on this, seems like it's a common thread topic... Probably a bit of jiggling about involved I would expect, as PugSports are 2-piece systems?

EuroParts cat: http://www.eurocarparts.com/catalytic-converter (reg is: S422 DVC)

There's loads of mickey mouse cat's on eBay. I'm not after it to last, I just need it to get through the MOT and then it's coming off. Previous owner fitted an aftermarket system (no idea what it is), but it's horrendous sounding, and fitted even worse, so PugSport is a 'must'.

If it's welded to be leak-free it will pass, although cheap cats don't last very long.

yeah, cheap cats often tend to give you one MOT, two at the most.

IMO you'd be better off with either a pugsport cat system or a decat system and get a local fabricator to weld in a sport cat.
