Heater pipes for turbo cooling

Hi all

Removing the heater box from my track car and just wondering if I can use the heater lines ( with 15mm-8mm reducers ) as my turbo water lines ?

Been done before ?

Pros / cons ?

Regards - jack

PS this is a track only car and has an electric demister if needed

Can't see why that wouldn't work, the reduction to 8mm will help restrict the flow (which I believe was an issue for some folks running a heater bypass on NA track cars).
