Central locking
Central locking !!!

It's "keyless entry".
So what Peugeot are really saying is, you don't need to put your key in the lock. it's only designed to work when you're standing at the door ready to unlock and get in. It should work fine using the remote at the drivers or passenger door glass. It uses Infrared like a TV remote. It needs line of sight. |

I can’t recall on my previous 106’s it being so insensitive tho ! Surely a few meters away is the standard at not at the door !

All the infrared ones I've come across have been terrible.
The RF ones in the later models are far better. |
