Cheers bendee..

Made some more progress at the weekend.

Sorted mounting the battery behind passenger seat and made up the battery cable to run through bulkhead. Got a battery disconnection thing on ebay so can disconnect it when not using the car by just unwinding the little wheel on the connector

Fitted the manifold

Made up a small bracket for the additional throttle spring, just needs tidying up and painting

Mounted FPR and made up new fuel lines in the engine bay

Need to sort a manual clutch cable as the automatic one is crap, got about 1.5" of play with it since fitting a new clutch with OMP plate.

Also need to order another one of the uprated driveshafts for the drivers side as needs changing so may aswell get a decent one

Nice car pal & welcome to the club! What you going to be using it for? Road car i take it as it's 1649cc so won't fit in any 1600 race class's? Will be a nice car with a decent power band!

Was the whole car resprayed? Weren't you tempted to go for another colour? Maybe it's just me that doesn't like silver though. Look's a very solid shell, i can't see any rust/rot anyway! When you hoping to have it on the road?

Sandy/Colin custom one no doubt seeing as it went on the engine dyno Garry, looks custom & Sandy mention's a FPR in the dyno description, but don't VW, audi etc etc use the same FPR so could probably pick one up most places I'd imagine, google it.

Cheers for the welcome! Used to be my road car and after looking at other blogs etc online decided to modify it. Will be mainly used for track days and taking out when the weathers nice.

Just the outside was resprayed and dents etc sorted, not that fussed about the interior being spotless really. I've always liked silver myself that's why I looked for a silver one when I got it.
