158.1bhp Here,
The .1 is very important when there's only 8 valves.

Team 8v would struggle to raise a team in 5 a side these days!

My little 1.3 8V ticked over 123456 miles yesterday. Needs a set of rings and a headgasket, the temptation is there to 16v it...

Luke, the spec is...

Standard bottom end in very good health (rebuilt 20k ago)
Good headwork with all new OE valvetrain and a massive skim that gives very little clearance at TDC for the Newman PH2 cam.
Satchell/brown manifold
42mm jenveys
Twin injectors
Lots + Lots of mapping

Car made 156 originally but when it returned a few weeks later for a bit of work on the cold start it made 158.1 - the only thing that changed in between was new calipers (4pot) as the old brakes were binding, I can only assume that this was the cause for 156 as since the it's held at 158.

Harv - just went out and took this, not great at documenting things as my "blog" shows! Also not one for cleaning engine bays.
I will dig out the RR printout when i unpack (moved 2 months ago still in boxes under stairs.

Awsome 8v,s!!! Beats the usual 16v lark all day

Mine previously at 151hp catcam 645 , ported head, gsxr bodies, stock warn bottom end!

The gsxr bodies broke and then i made the mistake of building this for 2 years:

321 hp at 1.4 bar of stupidly fast 106

Simply reslised its no where near as fun as giving the car some N/A hammering! So sold the entire boost setup!

Satchell jenveys on order! Catcam 645 on order! Ported head and engine at the engine builders!
