I have a car at home where only 300 of the model were ever produced..... Dread to think how many there are now after 38 years......

70 unmarried female rallye owners eh!! How do we get them to join up??

yes and no

mine has a few weeks tax left on it and then its going sorn. but thats just because its a full time race car in the castle combe saloon car series this season, no reason (touch wood) that if it survives the season in one piece that it won't be back on the road next year.
that will be up to the new owner, i'm hoping to move up to a higher class next year, so my s1 will be available ready to race, rally or be put back on the road
cheers all
see you at castle combe this monday, and check out my free ticket offer in the race forum.

Im currently housing M501 DGC, one of 322 Red S1's, and also looking for 1 of 253 blue S2's. I'd say im rather lucky i prefer the most common colours. I'd hate to be looking for a black S1 or S2!!

BTW Fuzzy Orange wasn't the 309 goodwood basically a goodwood green GTi with optional wooden wheel and gearknob? Only made so rare by the fact it was only ever one colour. I.e. a white S1 would be just as rare if they had named that one "106 bianca" and all the other colours were just normal Rallye's.

I there there is scollay's rhd, linds bro lhd, your rack lhd and wasn't there someone in Ireland who had a rhd one too i think he was called 2ndgearwow!

And one black one that was resprayed but don't know if it was blue or white before, will do some searches, that would make it four

they cost sooooooo much to keep on the road its hardly suprising i recon - if things go how planned mine will either be trailored to events soon or just kept in a garage until events track days etc

I saw a red s1 at a recovery garage in wakefield, it ended in PAW and it was an m reg. I like to think that my silver xsi is pretty rare, it was a complete wreck suspension wise but its been brought back to life, it could have ended up in the scrap heap. Non sunroof models rock, but not when the sun comes out. I nearly had the engine out of a red s1 a few years ago, the car got written off but the engine went knackered as it was outside and the rain ruined it. That was an m reg as well.

Iv just bought a black s1 a few days ago. its the one jon ox restored a while ago (i think its john ox)
iv just ordered the official graphics from peugeot and have cleaned it 4 times in 4 days.
heres the link to my progress blog on 106oc.
also if jon ox still comes on here i was wondering whats been done to that s2 rallye engine and why is it so quick.
and any 1/4 mile times etc.
