GAZ monotubes screwed?

I was turning the knob on my GAZ monotube coilovers for my satchell setup.
Now, I have probably overtightened the adjustment knob on one of them. It doesn't click backwards anymore.
Checking the website of GAZ they warn for this.
I have sent them an email already, but does anyone else ever has had this and will you be able to repair this or will it be a new damper?
