Welding inner front wings !

Welding the inner front wings tomora and making a new front bumper holding plate as it had rotted off !

Any of you guys done this ? Think am gona risk leaving the wings on 🙈🙈

Yes. Several times

You can still buy some of the panels off 106parts.com, but they are not cheap.

Most folk just fabricate their own and weld them in. If you are thinking of DIYing, get looking at the mig-welding.co.uk forum

Welded my own plates in.... drying in blue hammerite as I sup this tin !
Had a problem with the washer jet pipes melting however ! Any 1 no if I can get a connector to add a new section of pipe or do you have to replace the full section ?

The standard pipe is a quite a hard plastic. Any decent DIY shop will carry some 1/4" flexible plastic pipe you can run as a replacement from the washer bottle pump to the scuttle. There's normally a connector in the pipework there.
