I can't make the TD as a driver due to the 106 being in pieces atm.

I may pop along for the crack though.

Hoyle.

Thanks for the offer Luke, but it looks unlikely I'll make it now due to family commitments on the day.

I'm gutted I can't make it! Somebody do a tank slapper on the way out of druids in my absence!

Gregg, there is a Shell 2 miles from J18 on the A54 towards the circuit or there is one on the junction of the A556 and A49, which is 3 miles from the circuit.

I've made a note of both of those but I still need fuel to get up there first so will be doing a splash and dash at Tesco's, then topping up at a Shell near Oulton.

These are a bit selfish as they are all of my car lol but i didnt take my camera, was too busy blasting round lol.

Dead chuffed with the car it took a major hammering, and considering its only 117bhp still had a lot of fun and gave lots more exotic/expensive and powerful cars some grief!! We only stopped about 330pm because we used all our petrol up (about 60 quids worth!) so decided to call it a day.

It was a mixed day for us, but ended pretty well.
Spent the morning getting the camber and toe set up right. Thank you Mr Bennett

Then we had a weeping brake line. It was leaking from the join between the line and the fitting so we changed the fitting. And it still leaked!

As a result I had to contend with a long and soft middle pedal.

I still managed to better my previous times, by quite a margin so was made up with that.

Got no pics though.

Early start was worthwhile, had a good day despite finishing a bit early when the exhaust manifold spat one of the lambda blanking plugs out. Drive home was a bit noisy, with the added worry of the exhaust blowing straight onto the crank sensor.

I think I spoke to a couple of people from here, can't remember who though!

No, I didn't take any pics. The Pro ones are up on the Javelin site now so I'm off to have a look through.

I've no idea what it sounds like from the outside but it's bloody noisy inside, I couldn't hear the extra exhuast noise when the bung fell out, it was the extra pops and bangs that got my attention!
