Engine rebuild question! Conrod bearings.
Hi guys. I'm in the middle of a engine rebuild on my S2 Rallye. I've order 2 sets of Conrod bearings. Trouble is both came with holes in 4 of the set. Are these correct? Just wondering if anybody done this before? Only asking this question because mine have no holes.
My newest set I bought from Peugeot to make sure they were correct. Thanks in advance! |

Post a picture. If they are conrod bearings and for some strange reason have holes, it doesn't hurt anything.

Cheers for reply guys. Took the new set to a engine specialist. Said they were no good! Said they were for a reground crank. Ordered parts through them! Bah. Anybody else had trouble with parts? Tried uploading a picture. Not sure if it's worked. Used the url? What does everybody else use? Again cheers for response guys |

Still don't know if they are conrod or main bearings...
Never had problem with parts, not with OE anyways. Buy Glyco bearings. OE bearings are just one size (bar the oversize option) so going with aftermaket will be practically the same. Glyco 01-4173/4 STD https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_f...c&LH_PrefLoc=1 |
