clutch fitting

what a glorious day!!

spent most of today fitting this:


with the help of these:


all good on the test drive..

I have to say a BIG thunbs up to rob and nick over at shenpar once again they supplied the bits and were a great help..

also noticed a white S plate (i think) s2 rallye being worked on with a 106 register sticker in the back window anyone on here???

ah... nice looking rallye youve got there!!

its an alcon unit mate..

how do you find your gripper diff?? i was meant to be havin one fitted but money meant it was clutch only this time...

nick had an s1 box with the gripper diff already in so i had that off him, thats what im having put in there amongst other things.

if only money was no object, got many plans for nick to do work on my car but money is always a stumbling factor.

being the superstars that shenpar are (and the fact i`ve been on about wanting it for bloody months) nick did it for me at a good price.. the plates themselves have gone up this year to 190 i think he said.. the std LUK kit was 90...

from memory yes i beleive he said that what they`ve gone up to.. use to be 160 odd.. there are places cheaper but i guess thats down to good ol bulk buying power..

Crikey, fair bit more than Helix (140), not sure why? I have a contact that converts standard centres for around 80.
