looking good mate, recon weve got the only xs's on here in the s1? its coming along nicely, yeah def need to loose the rallye stickers and maybe think about stripping it more and lowering it? yours still on standard xs struts and brakes (no droplinks, and solid discs on the front instead of vented on the xsi and rallye?)?

is that a standard colour, it doesnt look like one.

Hey Dan!

Yea brakes and struts are still all standard been looking for ages at upgrading brakes but I've been hearing different views about different products/combinations - think GTI/VTS calipers with grooved and vented discs.

Defo defo needs lowering but the quotes around here seem far too high - I'd really like to do it myself but...!

The rims need to go too!

The colour is Miami Blue, standard colour prob looks different as it was friggin sunny in the industrial park! lol

yeah the brakes and sus will make a good upgrade in the handling department as mine was a bit wobbly before lol. get yourself some xsi front struts, arb, arb clamps and drop links with some vented disc calipers, i have a spare set off a 306 (same as vtr, gti etc..). i had some 206 gti 266mm ones and sold them, then had some 306 gti 285mm ones and my gf now has em on her 306 lol so ive got some vented 247mm discs with a set of 306 calipers and there fine (ATE i think)

as for lowering just give it a bash lol then if you get stuck then pay to get it done lol, mines dropped 45-55 on the rear and -60mm on the front lol

pm me if you want to know anything or add me to msn ive done everything to an xs lol

danthedon02@hotmail.com

yeah i can see its miami blue now looks different cause its full body coloured i think lol

You've done a decent job with positioning the spots.

Do they shake at all ?

Cheers lol! The fist time which I put these on (see sig) with my old bumper, they actually shook themself loose on a drive!

The second time round, they are fine:

(Spung is gone now!)

The new bumper has holes drilled into the front. Using two holes at each end I made an aluminium plate, think it was around 50mm and placed this on the front of the holes, I then got a long screw (100m) and bolted the whole thing together tightly using sprung washers. Then, with the gap between the back of the lamps and the bumper, I bridged this with 2mm thick strips of numberplate pads - halfords job, for extra attachment.

I hope this helps/is clear!
