Lovely machine - glad it's gone to a good (if slightly incestual) home lol!

I remember seeing it a few years ago at FCS on those black SL434's and it looked sweeeeeeeeeet!

No news, just being maintained and driven like it should be.

Me and my bro going to Truxton in it on Sunday to watch BTCC.

An update, for those that are still interested.

Car is going exceptionally well, it's on 101k and still runs great.

No changes, just maintaining it, it is old enough to legally drink alcohol now...

Few pictures, they're from my iPad so not the best quality. Spend yesterday and today cleaning the inside and out after a relatively neglected past few months

Recent one off the phone..

Yes, three years after the first spell of ownership. I sold it last time, partly due to feeling more of a custodian than the owner. It's had 3 years of daily road use and has worn a bit in that time, so I've some issues to work through with it; but I do feel like it's mine this time!

All true!

Nope, still on standard cam. Re-mapped it in the rollers the other day and it's still producing really strong power all the way through. Thoughts of a new demon engine for it won't go away, but far too busy for a while.

Still 8v though - Yes? I wonder about capacity increases with my 8v - and and dream of the noise and delivery of something like a 1700 - 1800cc 8v torque monster that doesnt fit in any competitive class, Just ace to drive.

Nice car this and loving the continuous thread continuing along with the various owners really liked my old Miami XSi... Big capacity 8v sounds like fun Sandy! What sort of numbers does it make then?

I really wanted to do an 8v screamer on my old engine. Wish I'd stick it in an S1 now tbh, gone bonkers!

I still have it (minus bodies and ECU, which have been sold) and well over 4 years since it last saw daylight. I've had a very dense few years work wise, which I'm frantically working my way out of now and hope to be able to do something for myself this year... on this one, fingers crossed!
