Question S1 Bonnet Badge

Hello!

Bought an original, embossed bonnet badge for the ol' S1. The current one is a bit tatty after 20 years...

The thing I've bought is literally just the badge. I've no idea how the badge is attached to the bonnet. Is there something else I need?

Looking at the Service Box it says there's a fastening clip but I can't find such a thing on the internet for the life of me. If I take off the current badge, would this clip still be usable?

Basically, what I'm asking is: How do I replace the bonnet badge?

I also replaced mine
If you look at your new badge you will see 4 prongs on the back
when you prise off your old one (it should just lift off) you should see 4 white holes which is all you need as they are the clips pushed in the holes in the bonnet,
Just push your new one on....
Simples...

Taken the old one out. You can see where the car has been resprayed. Gave it a bit of a clean:

Here's the tatty old one removed:

Nice new shiny one clicked into place:

The most drama-free thing I've ever had to do to this car :P

The actual Lion is embossed, the plate it's own is flat. It's the same as the one that was on before it... Looking at the sales brochure it's the same thing as the images from what I can see... How interesting :P

Is there any progress on this? I've got myself a 93 brochure which shows the top posts badge fitted to the rallye which my car has also. Where might I source a new one tho? I've found myself one of the other types but I won't fit it if its the wrong one.

They look very similar to that of the 405 but I think all pugs have different badges to fit the different bonnets/vents. The 106 is the only Peugeot of that era to have the badge on the top of the bonnet "vents", whereas the 306 and 405 have it in a cut out section in the vents.

I know of a very early 306 I can get up close to, so when I get my 'wrong' badge through the post, ill go see how close they are. unfortunately I don't know of any 405s I can get close to atm.
