Engine bay sizes s1 / s2

is the s1 engine bay definitely smaller in terms of width and depth than the s2? I know there is less height clearance in terms of where the bonnet comes into play.

However actual room across the bay and depth is it the same?

So that's width the same, are they smaller in terms of depth compared to the s2? I know actual volume will be less due to bonnet design

Yes they are. The front panel is further forward on an S2, not in terms of where it mounts but in terms of the shape itself.
