Cheap exhaust, cat back or CAT

MOT on the 2nd July, I have me a CAT left over but sister took my MOT exhaust and is going on holiday so it is unlikely I shall get to use it...

I have a CAT I can probably use to form a legal system but WHY?

Cheap preferred and local also, I could get a cheap one from kwikfit or similar and use that for a few days but??

Your powerflow have teh CAT installed? Most likely it would be good if I could get it off you for a week and get me through the MOT if that's OK. If ther eisn't a CAT then I may need it a little longer as I'll need to modify the rear pipe on the CAT I have as it was bodged to repair another 106 and they have for some reason welded on a extra section.

VTS one will exit about 6 inches to the right of a standard pug one and I think possibly try to exit through the bumper but I'll keep it in mind thanks.

That would be superb mate, I owe you a few pints for that one.

If I can collect it some time in the next fortnight then it gives me plenty time to get it fitted, I wish I'd never agreed to sell my sister the one I'd sourced last year.. Has just made things trickier.

I wish I had a friendly MOT tester, my old one was friendly on mechanicals as he knew I would replace them asap but not emissions as they never really understood the system or what was going on. Actually there was one bloke there whe was down right ignorant and thought he was the bees knees of a mechanic, he wasn't... Thankfully I worked for another garage and there is a proper mechanic guru there and I used to haev fun playing the stupid one off the knowledge I had gained from the clever one...
