Well after my knock at mallory i've decided to upgrade a load of parts.

Know i have a run about and will start pulling it apart

List to do before it goes back on the road.

Replace the front panels
Repaint engine bay and under boot floor
Fit 16v engine with 4-2-1, lightened and balanced fly wheel, general service parts, hopefully some 708's to with a veiw to fitting bodies in the winter.
266mm brakes
New rims
New interior which will be either Leathers or Buckets not sure yet
Spoiler with newly painted mirror caps and handles
Replace the top mounts and any other bushes i fancy.
new exhaust

Going to be a steap learning curve for me with much shouting and blood and sweat but im sure i will enoy it.

had a look at the damage i din't last weekend today and doesn't look to bad really, only really annoying bit is the bumper mount.

hears some pics

I've stripped alot more of the car down and started to find new parts for it.

i've removed the whole exhaust, induction, front brakes, interior and it now sits on some sweaty xsi alloy YUK

Hopefully soon the Box and engine will be coming out as i have a buyer for them.

Car looks sorry for itsself atm

Oh the plus side i've found some new headlights, front wings, bonnet, front bumper and 266mm brakes. just need to go round and get them all.

Not sure what to do with the engine yep, im considering a JP4 conversion but im unsure atm what works involved so need to do some research on that really.

Oh and a big thanks to RichHimself for sending me a free Washer Bottle, thanks Again

Nowt wrong with that bumper mount that a little persuasion wouldn't straighten out

If you were really worried about it, Peugeot sell replacements (I'm sure you can get them through 106parts) as they are known for being rust traps. It'd just need drilling off and a new one spot welding on.

Bottom in one who lump following Benjis steps went out the passenger side of the bay (only took 2 hours as well), only thing that caused a issue was getting the clearance to get the inlet manifold out uner the wing.

Couldn't break it, although its in so many bits now it wouldn't be hard lol.

Yer bumper was simple to take off ben, funny that really hehe.

Juist brought some braided front brake hoses

Got a replacement for the Pugsport, a OMP system, also ordered some front braided hoses

Well i've been neglecting the rallye recently and put it under a sheet on the drive on axle stands and went on holiday to Magaluf rather than throw my cash at it. So now its time to start spending so paper.

First thing a new front end. picked up new bumper, bonnet, wings and arches for 150. Bargin. they aint as mint as my old ones were but will get a full front end respray when its back on 4 wheels.

Also sorted out 2 Red fans which should look nice and the bays getting a blast this weekend.

Things are gonna move fast from now on i want this on the road ASAP, cant wait as i hate my daily driver atm

is it one of those small ones from Makro and such places? One slightly enthusiastic press of the trigger and the bloody thing sets off making a racket filling the cylinder up?

I have one the exact same lol

Sweet, i'll pop ova at the weekend

Well tonight i set about changing my springs over and putting the new top mounts on

After taking the springs out i pulled the shock out it looked like this.

Thats right a Koni adjustable, i had been looking just below where the shock cap that goes over the shock to hold it in and it said pug, well it would as i was looking at the strut which was made by pug.

So i've been out and brought two more koni front shocks for no reason.

EPIC FAIL!

Right then, today i started actually putting things on the car for a change and get a few bits sorted

Powerflex ARB bushes fitted (proper pain in the arse they was)

23mm Master Cylinder fitted

Also fitted by new top mounts and fitted the struts on the car but need a couple more bolts for the top mounts and the bolts for the Track Rod ends, oh and put them in PAS position

I've also painted grinder my calipers down and painted them again so they will be going on tmrw

And then to top it off i've got a few of the last bits on the way including a Brand new Janspeed Manifold
