Peugeot 106 rallye S2 Bianca white

Up for sale with a heavy heart is my S2 rallye in bianca white, i bought the car in april last year with the intention of keeping it indefinately, however in life nothing is ever as it seems and unfortunately it has to go, genuine reason for sale.

I have carried out a lot of extensive work to the vehicle in the last 16 months, in fact ive worked on it more than i've drove it, but thats the fun right?!

ill start with the basics:-

1998 S2 rallye in bianca white
126,000 miles
12 months MOT, just tested today :-(
10 former keepers
extensive service history, every MOT from new, piles and piles of reciepts from day one, original bill of sale, 106 rallye brochure all within a ring binder.

Within the last 16 months i personally have carried out or have had carried out:-

Reconditioned and polybushed rear axle from IM axle at standard ride height
New heater matrix fitted
Refurbished front suspension including lower arms, droplinks, strut top mounts and bearings, wheel bearings, New Bilstein B4 OEM dampers all round painted the suspension struts too.
new driveshafts
New exhaust downpipe
4x new yohohama s drive tyres which have covered around 500 miles
Full outside respray in bianca white including wheel refurbishment
brand new rallye decals all round
Quality welding repair to O/S/F chassis leg/floor area and also N/S/R boot area
full engine service oil, oil filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, gear oil and driveshaft seals
new brembo OEM front brake discs and pads
brand new genuine engine mounts all 3, transformed the car
brand new windscreen
brand new horn

It has a Peugeot sport exhaust and an aftermarket head unit fitted but is otherwise completely standard

The interior of the car is also in good condition and original, drivers seat bolster foam has worn but seat cover still intact also small cigarette hole on rear bench

It still has its great 8 valve engine and the correct 20CD15 S2 rallye gearbox

This is a 2nd car for me, garaged all the time and only gets used when the weather is nice, which isn't enough! has done less than 2000 miles in the last year.

Im asking 3000 for the car which i think is fair, i have a guaranteed value for that on my insurance. I am in no rush to sell, would like only genuine interest please. any questions please do not hesitate to ask. I'd love for it to go to a good home where it will be looked after and used exactly as it should be, not be a garage queen!

I strongly advise that if you are interested come and view the car before making any offers.

If i haven't bored you yet here is some pictures of her

Thanks for the kind words, really shocked as I've had no interest at all in the car. But I suppose it's a bit of a niche market.

Hi yes, I did put in the advert but it has had a patch on the nsr boot area and also the osf jacking point, chassis rail area was rotten so had it all cut out and professionally repaired to a great standard, cost me a fortune!

I've just owned an Bianca S2 otherwise I'd love this!

Not sure why it hasn't been snapped up yet to be honest, seems like a good price to me. Possibly bad time of year? Dont drop price if you can help it, it's worth 3000 for sure.

Good luck with the sale chap, looks like a lovely clean example - even with original airbox!

Thanks for the kind words, it's been for sale since August and haven't had a viewing, was starting to think it's overpriced or there just isnt many people that want one? I agree time of year probably doesn't help, just had a lot of timewasters that want it for peanuts! It's reassuring when people on here tell me it's worth what I'm asking because I do too!

I recon you should get it up as a classified on eBay.

Mine was 60,000 mls and in the same shape as yours and its up for 9500 now! I would rather own this of the two - because you wont feel as bad putting miles on it!

Loads of people looking on there! You do open yourself up to more time-wasters though...

Best of luck! Great buy for someone, 3500 is a bargain for a clean original one.

Its had a respray too!

Serious bargain I think.

Blooming lovely. I reckon priced right as well. If I was in the market I'd be calling. I like the originally of it including the miles, docs and history. Good luck with the sale.
