Ignition won't turn off

Hi lads, recently purchased a s2 rallye. Had one years ago and just back into the rallye stable. As above had the car out this morning and when I got back to the house with the keys out the car was still running. Checked fuses etc and obv just stalled it to stop it. Any ideas? Ignition switch maybe??

I remember this happening on 306's years ago, iirc it's to do with the loom on the cross member unscrew the main plug check for green corrosion and screw it back up hopefully it's a simple fix..
