Jenvey Fuel Pressure Reg

Can anyone tell me if the standard 16v reg will fit this?

https://store.jenvey.co.uk/throttle-...sing-94mm-rh01

Also, what pressure does the standard unit work at?

yeah all the aftermarket FPR housings use the same dimensions for a Weber unit which is the same as the 16v 106 uses, its a 3 bar unit.

if you need 3.5 bar then later returnless engines sometimes have 3.5bar units, xsara's saxo's etc, and if you need 4 bar then a VW unit can be used, IIRC a VR6 is one of the applications.

standard 180 lph pump at 3 bar is enough for your engine though.

Spot on Welshy, I'll be sticking with the original reg but want to upgrade the fuel rail.

Is there any reason the rail cant be plumber reverse of the normal
ie, flow from cyl 4 side and the pressure reg/return at cyl 1 side.

I presume if the rail is pressurised it makes no difference?

I kinda knew that but I could never picture them the other way around on any car.

It turns out I had enough room to do it the normal way in the end
