Hi

Sorry for the delay.

As it's not hot, I wouldn't use the 75w-90, a 75w-80 would be ideal and as it is a Quaife, it doesn't need a LSD specific oil, just a normal gear oil. Because of that, I would probably go for the Fuchs Sintofluid 75w-80, Millers TRX or Red Line MTL.

I've a standard Peugeot 106 Rallye S2 used for fast(ish) road use. What decent gearbox oil would you recomend?

Hi Julian

You need a 75w-80 for the gearbox and the best proven options are the Red Line MTL, Fuchs Sintofluid or Amsoil MTF. The Millers TRX 75w-80, Castrol Syntrans V-FE, Gulf Syngear FE and Motul Motylgear are good alternatives.
