How to tell if a cylinder head has been skimmed

Ahoy hoy,

Does anyone know the height of an un-skimmed 16v head please?

I'm fitting CatCam 743s and am concerned that if the head has been skimmed then I may not have enough clearance between the valves and pistons.

Many thanks,

Chris

I can't seem to find this either, but the head height for the 8v is 111.2 mm plus/minus 0.08. Repair size is 111.0 plus/minus 0.08.

From what I can see in the Haynes manual, all the other petrol heads listed (954cc, 1124cc, 1360cc) are also this same size. Hope that helps
