S2 standard airbox - alternatives?

Hello chaps, some advice would be greatly appreciated. My S2 has all the top section, pipes etc of the standard airbox, but a previous owner has dumped the bottom section and sort of rammed a cone type filter in its place. I've put out some feelers for a replacement for the whole airbox but they seem to be thin on the ground. My question is as I have the top section which has the clips etc to take the bottom section, would any other airbox bottom section from another 106 model work?

Many thanks in advance for any advice

I think the air filter setup on the s2 rallye was unique, but I may well stand corrected, keep checking eBay or post a wanted as, you never know

the airbox on the 1.6 xsi is the same, (it at least looks very similar) and i would imagine the 1.4 xsi would there for be the same.

and don't quote me on this, but if you can get one, so long as you have the top half, i'd be willing to bet money on the lower part (part you need) of an SPI airbox fitting!!

you can see in the this thread the shape of the standard box

thanks for the replies, i will look out for XSI airboxes as well. Otherwise, i think it might be a case of trial and error, i will see if i can get a few different boxes and try them out for size..

thanks again, Cheers
