piston rings

does anyone know where I might get new piston rings , for the rebuild , with out going to peugeot (300euro).Is there anywhere I could other them off the net ?

qep also are faily cheap and managed to get me a set in under a week compared with peugeot who said it would be at least 2 coming from france lol

I know this is an old thread, but for anybody interested - I just spoke to Peugeot and they quoted 200 for a full set of rings for the TU2j2. Bloody hell!!

Which engine? You can get a full set of Goetze rings on ebay for less than 100

yeah I was talking about the TU2j2. Needs to be 75mm bore and 1st = 1.5mm, 2nd = 1.5mm, 3rd = 3mm
