1400 8v sprint/hillclimb car

Hi, so I want to build a 1400 8v for my sprint car. I want to build a 1400 so I can compete in A1 road going class.
Anyone here that's actually built a screaming 1400 with success?
I've read a good few forum posts and the general rule is to use xsi pistons and rods to raise comp'.
What cam have people used? Bodies or carbs?
All knowledge suggestions greatly appreciated

Try an alloy tu3jp block from late models, almost same block as tu2j2, much longer rods and improved pistons over the tu3jf2 internals.
